How Growth Leads to Success with Cyndi Walter

by Growth-U

Hard times come to everyone.

You can’t avoid them, but you can learn to make the most of them.

When it comes to adapting and achieving the most exponential growth in life, few know more than Cyndi Walter.

Cyndi is the president and founder of Cynergy, Inc., a wellness and mindset solutions company, and joined the Growth Life podcast to discuss her techniques for positive growth.

How Does Cyndi Approach the Deception Phase of Her Growth Cycle?

During the natural growth process that occurs over a lived life, everyone eventually comes to the deception phase, where we resist growth and change.

Learning how to embrace change can mean the difference between stagnation and exponential growth.

For Cyndi, the first precaution she takes is to face the fact that deception will occur. Secondly, she’s also come to believe that things happen for her, not too here. Coming to this understanding has given her the freedom to live her life without becoming overly stressed about what’s around the corner.

It has also freed her in her relations with other people. Whereas she used to be constantly concerned with pleasing others, now she’s content to live her life the way she wants. If people are pleased with her, that’s good, but if they’re not, it’s none of Cyndi’s concern.

You Will Always be a Student

Another realization that Cyndi has found useful is that she will always be a student. This doesn’t mean that she’s submissive or childlike, but, instead, she understands that she doesn’t have all the answers and should always be open to new information.

When you view every situation as a chance to learn, then few experiences are wasted. Even the bad experiences will make you stronger; instead of debilitating you–in fact, you may learn more from those experiences than any other.

As Cyndi puts it, “on the other side of deception is transformation.”

How Does Cyndi Approach the Running of Her Business?

Because Cyndi has an online business and the internet is constantly evolving, she’s had to learn how to be flexible.

In fact, she finds that she’s learning a lot from young people, particularly her kids. In an increasingly tech-focused world, if you’re not constantly on top of the newest trends, it won’t be long before you’re left behind.

This attitude is a symptom of the change in Cyndi’s mindset.

Just recently, someone stole her luggage. While disappointed, she figured that there really wasn’t anything valuable in there and maybe the thief need the bag more than she did.

Her husbanded reminded her of a similar circumstance that occurred twenty years ago, and her reaction wasn’t nearly as level-headed.

This is a real-life example of how your willingness to adapt can snuff out the fire of negative experiences before it can spread.

What Does Cyndi Find Herself Coaching People On the Most?

When coaching people on how to seize their life, Cyndi finds belief to be a particular point of interest.

This is because people are likely to have hopes and dreams, but not the belief in their ability to achieve them. They have a car and a destination, but no gas. It’s Cyndi’s job to provide the gas.

Another thing that Cyndi finds to be lacking in people is organization and preparation.

While the ability to adapt at a moment’s notice is handy, preparation and organization can make that moment all the more effortless. Having a schedule for your life also adds a reliable framework from which to build on.

With all the variables that change on a day-to-day basis, it helps to have certain parts of your day to be reliable and familiar.

If you’re having trouble sticking to a schedule, Cyndi finds it helpful to have a program, such as one of Growth U’s programs. This helps her remain accountable, as it creates a habit of logging and journaling. Bad habits get all the press, but it’s also possible to develop good habits, such as nutrition and exercise.

What Does the Future Have in Store for Cyndi?

Going forward, Cyndi wants to be more active in her community and add to people’s lives.

She wants to be on the frontlines for making people healthy, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. And when she’s no longer around, she wants to be remembered as someone who added value to the lives of others.

However, she would also like to teach people to teach–in other words, to carry on her mission.
